We’ve come a long way since that fateful day…the day we lost 4-3 after being 3-1 up & coasting. We might not have coasted in this one but we probably still had a bit of juice left come the end of a comprehensive four goal win. Might Mo [again] scored three and we welcomed an own goal. No we didn’t coast but we just kept the locals at a safe distance and went top of the pile.

Burnley 1 Liverpool 3
Cold wet night in Burnley; not a nice thought but we got through despite going a goal down early in the second half. Milner, Firminho and Shaq scored our goals but the Joe Gomez broken legs marred the occasion.
Liverpool 1 Everton 0
We didn’t play well, Everton played better than they usually do when at Anfield. Our front three are often quoted as being the best front three in Europe, at the moment they don’t look the best front three at Anfield. However, the ‘derby’ is different. It’s where legends are born, it’s where history begins for some and nightmares for others. 90 minutes [+6] and the ball fly’s skyward from the miscue off VvD’s boot. Suddenly England’s finest goalkeeper since the last finest one makes a complete hash of something hard to explain and the forgotten man of Anfield, Divock Origi will now never be forgotten. Never mind the quaility, feel the result.
