That Will Do Nicely
A 5-1 away win anywhere in Europe is a good result. We were expected to get a good result but this is even better. That man Darwin, again incredible and two goals. Macca, Dom and Luis the rest. Harvey Elliott, brilliant. Sparta Prague gave it a go, but were blown away.
Last Minute Winners…continued
98 minutes and 38 seconds into the Nottingham Forest v Liverpool game everyone was thinking we’d dropped a couple of points. Only then came Darwin Nunez. Bedlam in the away end as his header settled into the net is one way to describe it but it was even more than that. Darwin Nunez is already part of Liverpool folklore. And he’s only just started.
Bring On Yer Manchester United
Jayden Danns and Lewis Koumas scored the goals as Klopp’s Kids starred again in a 3-0 win over Southampton in the other Cup. What a night for both of them. A trip to OT is their reward even if they don’t get the chance to play. They’re now part of it so “Bring on yer Manchester United”
