Two five-year olds were taken into Liverpool for the first time on Sunday, nothing to do with football but my desire to introduce them to the Eternal City. I was on edge thinking about what was going on elsewhere. Our game was just starting when we dropped them back home and why is it that my nerves were more on edge when we went in at halftime two-up. In effect, we played this game the way we were playing earlier in the season. Every player in Red [+plus Ali in green] did their bit. It doesn’t get any easier, Newcastle on Wednesday before we get a breather and can take stock. For now, the perfect weekend in Paradise.
