On May 1st 1965 Liverpool won the FA Cup for the first time beating Leeds United at Wembley. So, on May 1st 2025 we’re celebrating the 60th anniversary of this great occasion. Coming along to help us celebrate this great day in the clubs history will be John Aldridge and David Fairclough, plus members of the Original Shankly Boys who didn’t play, but were part of the day. We also hope to have at least one member of the Cup winning side with us and we’ve also invited family members of the team that achieved our first FA Cup win.
We will replicate the banquet menu from the evening celebration at the Grosvenor Hotel in the form a a tasting plate. There will be a table of unique memorabilia and footage of the day.
On the night there will be an auction, a raffle and the chance to win the FA Cup
