Burnley 0 Liverpool 1

When the wind is blowing and rain is falling there aren’t too many places less inviting than Burnley.
We had 27 shots and thankfully the last one went in. Felt sorry for Alisson Becker who could have watched from the stands rather than have to stand around on the pitch. Arne didn’t seem to be impressed with Milos Kerkez and seemed to hook him well before halftime. Andy Robbo was better. Nobody was outstanding and a few far from it. Michael Oliver sent a Burnley player off with about 10-minutes left and gave us a penalty in final throes of the game. I don’t think any genuine Burnley watcher could argue but some probably will. Mo’s last two penalties have disappeared into the heavens but thankfully not this one. Burnley didn’t just park their team coach they let half the town park as well. Sub-standard as it was, a win is a win, and I’ll leave it at that.
