All Aboard The Yellow Submarine

We’ve seen some historic European Nights at Anfield but the three-all draw with Benfica was different. Most of the night the Kop sang the new Jürgen song in brilliant fashion and watching from my seat in the Lower Kenny it looked and sounded brilliant. On the pitch we were either pretty good or bad. Scored three good goals but conceded three that under different circumstances might have had us all wondering what on defenders were on. When we went 3-1 up thanks to Si Senor it was party time and another singalong but then I don’t know what happened but looking back it did seem as if any time Benfica went into our half they could have scored. Meanwhile we spent the last twenty minutes trying to get Bobby the match ball. We got through which wasn’t really in doubt and now it’s all aboard The Yellow Submarine that sails to Villareal.
