Brighton 1 Liverpool 5

Sometimes things just go as you would want. Had Manchester City or their less illustrious neighbours won at Brighton in the manner Liverpool did the media and Sky would have been all over them. As it was nobody seemed to be saying too much about how we’d performed. Salah had a quiet game, just set up a goal this time whereas Coutinho was in magic man mood. His Samba pal Firmino got back to scoring ways with two simple goals but ones that came about because of the wonderful build up. When you’ve got two thirds of the midfield playing as defenders maybe it showed something. Wouldn’t fancy it every week but it was alright down on the south coast.
