Okay, we’ve got to be honest Bournemouth were like lambs to the slaughter. I don’t think I’ve seen a poorer Premier League side for a long time, if ever. However, we never let up, from the first minute until the last and scored some good goals. Trent’s was a great one as was the first Premier league goals for Harvey Elliott and his pal Fabio Carvalho. Throw in a couple for Si Senor and Luis Diaz and one for VvD plus an oggy, it made for a pleasant Anfield afternoon in the sunshine. No goals for Mo though. Odd that. We needed this but the Toon on Wednesday will be a different kettle of fish. I think we’re all a bit happier now though, even Jürgen. Good to see the young academy lads getting a sample of life at the top.
