Ten Minutes Of Greatness

Trepidation was the air as the stigma of the Forest defeat hung over Anfield. Inside five minutes the ball was in the back of our net but thankfully VAR came to our aid and cancelled things out.  The warning signs were there and we scrambled about playing funny football at the back. Then it happened. Luis Diaz scored following a searching long ball. Two minutes later he scored again. Joyous sounds filled the replaced trepidation and when Darwin Nunez rifled in a third we sat back and thought of the goals to come. Unfortunately, no more goals did come and the second hard became a bit tedious at times but we’re top of the table until Manchester City & Arsenal play. Those ten minutes will stay in the memory for a bit longer.
