Red All Over The Church

On Saturday May 4th, subject to the football fixtures we hope to stage an event at The Church on Oakfield Road to celebrate what was the Bastion Of Invincibility – The Kop 1964 to 1994. We are inviting the families of those who helped make Liverpool the club they are today and so far interest in attending has been shown by the families of Ronnie Moran, Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Lawrence and Peter Thompson. As we move on we hope to have more.
We are keeping everything crossed that our club doesn’t have a fixture on this day, we are gambling on the reds still being in Europe and therefore we know the date will be free.
David Jaggs of The Ragamuffins will be there and the show will be hosted as usual by Graham Mack. The idea is to raise funds for The Community Basket – a small group who work for the Anfield Community.
