Arne’s First Day

It was a different Anfield. No chaos on the pitch but plenty at the ticket office. Brentford caused us, well me, a few scares but we seemed in control of things and Ali was there when we needed him most. Our man of the match for me was Ibou Konate but the Brentford keeper must have taken the overall rating because he kept us at bay during some quality play in the second half. A 2-0 win thanks to Diaz and Mo, could and should have been more but like I say, the Brentford ‘keeper earned his corn. No fist pumps and a slightly less than rapturous salute from Arne at the end but he seemed happy enough.
