Liverpool 2 Tottenham 1

I can’t be certain but Liverpool hospitals must be on red alert on our match days. Yes we nicked the points against Spurs but it was almost heart attack inducing. Our first goal from Bobby Firmino was class, the cross and the finish and for about ten minutes we looked the part. Then the pendulum started to swing and it wasn’t because Spurs were playing well, it’s just that we weren’t. After they’d scored you could sense what was coming next but somehow it didn’t and I don’t care how lucky the winner was, it was a winner. Valium on tap please doctor.
