In Liverpool’s history of great European nights future generations won’t find this one. It was as tepid on the pitch as it was off it. The first half was almost like watching the Huddersfield game again only the missed penalty came in the second half this time. Thankfully we again scored three second half goals but from start to finish it was all pretty mundane.
