Liverpool 0 Napoli 3

Probably our worst pre-season showing for many a year. A poor show all over the park and no excuses either. 70,000 turned out and unless they supported Napoli, they went home disappointed....

Final game of the US tour and maybe another slightly disappointing result. One down early on before Origi and Wijnaldum turned things around before halftime only for the Portuguese side to level it in the second half. Probably a fair result in a game which saw the debut of Sepp van den Berg. These tours...
A 'home' defeat at Fenway Park; so the US tour not going quite as planned. The Spaniards appeared to have come for war judging by some of the treatment they handed out. Once again Jurgen opted for the mix and match approach and a lack of cohesion is there at the moment. We went a goal...

A goal down...
Bloody annoying isn't it. That's why we choose to ignore it. The obvious could happen like Simon Mignolet will go in search of first team football as might Nathaniel Clyne. So we may sign goalkeeper cover but doubt very much else will happen. Our advice; ignore the rumours....

So the result and performance secondary and a sell out crowd helped the cause. First half wasn't too bad with Milner scoring with a deflected long rage drive and a penalty....
Holidays over for some and a mixed assortment took a ferry cross the Mersey for the now annual game against Tranny. Nice work out and goals aplenty. 6-0 was decent reward for the effort put in by two different starting elevens. Rhian Brewster is viewed as the next rising star and two goals didn't do...
Welcome to Issue 254 of Red All Over The Land. Last season, where to start? Well, at the end is as good a place as any. June 1st will go down as another of those nights; another “Best night of our life” etc. Obviously I would have loved to have seen us win the league but...
