My thoughts

  • Leeds 3 Liverpool 3 7 Dec 2025 - Another implosion but what happened afterwards dominates the headlines. What Mo said should have been kept in house but it's too late for that now. What it may highlight is a fractured dressing room and something Arne doesn't see able to fix. A sad state of affairs. ...
  • Liverpool 1 Sunderland 1 4 Dec 2025 - Thoughts about last night v Sunderland. Positives - Flo is looking the player they said he was and I don't care what the PL say, that goal was his. Negatives - I haven't got enough space but just to say that first half was a cure for insomnia. A draw was all we deserved and in the end it was thanks to Federico that we at least got that. Once again, more questions than answers. ...
  • West Ham 0 Liverpool 2 30 Nov 2025 - Not going to comment on the game just yet but RAOTL sends its respect to WHU after the news about Billy Bonds. There're are legends and real legends, Billy Bonds an absolute legend. West Ham through & through. Now the game. Winning today was all that mattered. How we won was secondary. A clean sheet and Joe Gomez helps set up the second goal. Where did we find him? West Ham aren’t a good side although they’ve improved of late, but we needed this win.  Hopefully the goal will help Isak, and this is the start of his Anfield career.  Despite what some think, dropping Mo wasn’t an easy decision but it was the right one.  We go again on… ...
  • Liverpool 1 PSV 4 27 Nov 2025 - This is possibly the worst run of form in my lifetime., probably most people. I won’t advocate sackings but a couple of questions. Joe Gomez is a defender, why not give him a game. Please explain why Robbo can’t get in this team. There was no passion on the pitch nor off it. Next Wednesday our fans should line the Anfield Road with banners & flares etc. Noise. Give that team coach a welcome like we were giving it at the end of last season. It’s just as important when the tides against you. ...
  • Editorial 318 25 Nov 2025 - Welcome to Issue 318 of Red All Over The Land. Almost a year ago we were held to a draw by Newcastle up at St. James’s Park and we said in the Fanzine it felt like a loss.  The reason being it was because we were a good side and beginning to cement our place at the top of the league.  We would stay in pole position and didn’t we let the world know it last May. Jocky Hansen once remarked one reason Liverpool stayed at the top was always signing good players when they were strong.  Liverpool did their homework on players and probably knew more about the player they were getting than the player himself.  Last summer Liverpool… ...
  • Liverpool 0 Forest 3 23 Nov 2025 - I have to say that yesterday was the most abject performance from a Liverpool side at Anfield in the League since the times of Brendan Rodgers. Everyone, Arne included should be looking in the mirror & asking themselves a question. There's no hiding place now. ...
  • Since 1995 17 Nov 2025 - A superb night at The White Star Line Hotel with both John Barnes and Peter Beardsley in excellent form. However, the star of the show was young Isaac Kearney. A full review of the night will be on this site shortly. In the meantime tune into Red All Over YouTube tomorrow night and watch the highlights of another memorable Red All Over The Land event. ...
  • Manchester City 3 Liverpool 0 9 Nov 2025 - Ah well, back to the drawing board. We're a long way off from where we need to be. The goal chalked off by VAR was hard to take but we just don't defend well enough and only having one shot on target says a lot. Two weeks off, time to get our heads sorted again. ...
  • Liverpool 1 Real Madrid 0 5 Nov 2025 - This was a night of just deserts. Liverpool got theirs and Trent Alexander-Arnold got his. The Man of the Match was the Galatco goalkeeper, not for the first time when we’ve played Real Madrid while for Liverpool there were heroes all over the pitch and, on this night, in the stands. Noise, noise and more noise. Best performance for maybe a year.  ...
