The Only Points That Matter 10 Oct 2026 - After having a few days walking around the most northerly tip of North Wales and avoiding all the Manchester City gossip, I started to think about the game tomorrow. Even in a remote place such as where we were you could sense what the build-up was going to be about, sadly there was only one show in town, that is until Everton got put up for sale. Has The PL Got Any Guts 26 Sep 2026 - After what seemed like an eternity the verdict of Manchester City has been announced. That is, they have been found ‘guilty’ on 114 out of 115 of the charges laid against them. The furore that followed was understandable with the world and its mate all having an opinion and, of course, a thousand suggestions about what to do next followed. Strip the club of their titles, Cups and everything else that has come their way during the period under investigation. Relegate them, hit them hard with fines but it won’t be that easy. RAOTL Editorial 24 Sep 2026 - Welcome to Issue 326 of Red All Over The Land. I’m seriously having to think about the future of the Fanzine. Selling at Anfield is getting harder by the season, in fact, by the game. We’re now down to just three sellers at league games, Martin and Andy at Flagpole corner and myself outside the Main Stand. At European games it’s just Martin and myself with a helping hand from Liam when he gets over from Ireland. At the recent League Cup game, it was just me. Andoni Goes Home 19 Sep 2026 - Some years ago, now we were in the Runcorn services after a home game and there was a family of Bournemouth fans in there. One young lad said, “We’re on minus seven now” referring to the points deduction they’d been handed at the start of the season. They were in the fourth tier of the league and still faced the prospect of dropping out of the league altogether. Tomorrow, we travel down to what I still call Dean Court to play two days after they’d play an away European game. The League Cup 17 Sep 2026 - Chelsea at home in the next round and like Spurs, it’s only domestic Cups they’re interested in this season. They’ve got a squad of around 150 so it could be another interesting night. ...
Lewis The Lion 16 Sep 2026 - This felt like a League Cup game with a difference. Like it mattered to the players, to the manager, to the fans. There was an atmosphere. Helped by 6,000 Tottenham fans, there was rain, and we scored three goals that had everyone purring. We conceded one that we shouldn’t have but then Mama made one world class save plus a couple of others so redemption. For forty-five minutes there was Joe Gomez. We should thank Andoni for at least keeping a bit of experience in the starting X1 and although the first twenty minutes, and maybe the last twenty looked a bit scary the bit in between looked promising.
