Tranmere 3 Liverpool Under 21’s 2

Liverpool Under 21 side lost to a last minute goal over at Prenton Park but the side acquitted themselves reasonably well.  The Reds led 1-0 but conceded twice in a matter of minutes before getting back on terms. However in the final moments Tranmere scored what would be the winning goal. Jake Cain and Luis Longstaff scored for the Reds.
