Over to America for a shirt selling tour of the USA. A bit of football gets thrown in and another team of the pick & mix variety beat Real Betis 1-0 with a goal from Dom Szoboszlai being enough. Still about a dozen players on extended leave. Stadium about half full but at the prices...

The first pre-season game was behind closed doors at Kirkby on what is usually the Academy pitch. Probably just as well as the team[s] Arne sent out lost 1-0 and it seemed that anyone who was around go a runout apart from the kitman who was too busy making sure he had enough shirts....
