Summing up last night I would say a real mixed bag. Defence looked dodgy but, in the end, we won but we need to sort out the obvious. Credit to Bournemouth and their fans. If the racist allegations are correct, I hope the club & the police deal with it. Not wanted at any time but on a night like this.
I think our team have been emotionally drained but maybe now they can move on. Last night’s tributes were superb, and the away fans banner was wonderful. Well done, as ever, Andy Knott on the mosaics. Goals from the new fella Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Freddy Chiesa and Mo might have won us the points but the game had me a nervous wreck. Still, only 37 to go.
