Happy New Year

Another year nearly over. A great first six months for LFC, not quite so great in the last six months. A hard time for Red All Over The Land as we faced lousy weather plus an ever changing culture among the Fanbase many of whom have no idea what a Fanzine is or what it does. People say ‘Print is Dead’ but there’s no interest in the digital version either. The club no longer wants the local supporter, they prefer the cash they can take from the ‘tourist’. That’s not just at Liverpool, it’s the same at Manchester United and others. It’s football which has now become tick-box entertainment rather than a sport and we are customers rather than supporters. Even so, we wish everyone a Happy New Year regardless of who they are, where they come from or who they support. 2026, let’s make it a good one.
