You win 5-2 but still come out the ground shaking like a leaf on a tree. Why? It wasn’t because of anything West Ham were doing but what we were doing. I started having a panic attack every time we had a goal kick!!! All that passing around in not just the penalty area but even the six-yard box. Not only that the mistimed pass and the ball being given away. However, in this game we became the set-piece kings [apparently]. It brought us three first half goals and the last time we got five at Anfield was the day we won the league. Shame they decided the Frimpong goal was an O.G. The others were pretty good and nice to see Gakpo back in business. We could and should have scored more but the worrying thing is, so could West Ham. Anyway, as we wait for other results, we’re fifth and closer to Villa than we expected to be a month or so ago.
