Back in the dark ages a 1-0 defeat away from home in Europe was deemed a decent result and most of the time it would be turned round in the home leg. This Liverpool team doesn’t offer a lot of hope though. For the second time this season we suffered a 1-0 defeat against Galatasaray in Istanbul and there wasn’t a lot to get too excited about. Disorganised at the back, a sterile midfield and a front line that didn’t cause too many problems for the opposition. Thankfully the deficit is just one goal, so we know what we must do and that is to show more passion than we did in Istanbul.
