Andoni Needs A Little Help From His Friends

We didn’t exactly relight the ring of fire, but we didn’t extinguish it either. It was an emotional day up on the Toon and I for one, will happily take a point. Whether we deserved it is down to others so if you don’t mind, I’ll leave it to the experts, the non-experts and the pundits who fill the various TV studios. The clock was nearly out of time when Dominic Szoboszlai strode up to take that penalty.  He silenced the masses that had come to pay homage to Kevin Keegan and pour boiling oil on Isak.  It felt awkward and nobody can pretend we played that well, but we fought back twice through Gakpo and Dom so let’s leave it at that and hope Andoni can get a little help from his friends and get the players he should be demanding.  As it is, we are just a couple of points behind the leaders and have got to play them twice.
