Tractors Turned Over
September 5, 2026
Put the worry beads away for now. It wasn’t about Bradley Barcola, it was about Alexander Isak. His two goals inside the first ten minutes, aided and abetted by Cody Gakpo gave us control. Our vulnerability has been when we’ve seemed in control but then threw it all away. Not tonight and with Ronald Araújo [the new Big Ron] playing as a full back we seemed a bit more composed. Okay, better teams than Ipswich will be sterner tests but grab the comfort while we can. Jérémy Jacquet and VvD are beginning to understand each other. It was Isaks night though. Plus, a clean sheet and the first sighting of our latest £100m man. Happy weekend.
