As Nil-Nils go, Liverpool v Fulham was one that most at Anfield would have forgotten by the time the players had reached the sanctuary of the dressing room. It might not have even stayed in the memory vaults that long. From our side I dare say tiredness will be thrown into the equation but even so, I was expecting a little bit more. The Ali/Gravenberch mix up should have cost us but maybe that was an indication of players not being on the same page at the same time. Passes not only went astray, but some were just going out of play. In the stands, it was mostly the sounds of silence, a tourist crowd looking and sounding like they were just out for the day.
