Oh What A Night

I was there the last time we beat Real Madrid at Anfield. Seems like it was in a different lifetime. This time we were brilliant and the 2-0 margin only flattered Madrid. The best atmosphere for a Euro game since the Barca night and we deserved everything we got. Everyman was a king, even though Mo missed a penalty. Connor Bradley had lifted an already raucous Anfield with his first half tackle and when Mac Allister gave us the lead it was even louder.  Same when Kelleher saved the penalty. Cody Gakpo making it two was nothing more than we deserved. We beat the European Champions and Cup favourites and now we have to beat the English Champions and title favourites on Sunday.
