Farewell And Thank You Arne30 May 2026-So, what seemed like the inevitable has happened. Despite all the social media lynch mobs we shouldn’t forget what Arne achieved in his first season. He departs sitting alongside those managers who won our club the coveted league title, he succeeded where others had failed. While the keyboard warriors were on the warpath let’s not forget that twelve months ago Arne Slot was being compared to Bob Paisley, the quiet man following in the footsteps of a living legend. Having said that, the past season couldn’t be ignored. Like others I wasn’t happy with what we were watching on the pitch nor happy with what was happening off the pitch. I don’t think that was just down to the manager… ...

Red All Over YouTube25 May 2026-Good Morning Well it's finally over - a season that promised so much but delivered so little. We will be giving Red All Over The Land's perspective on things tomorrow evening [May 26th] with Liverpool comedian John Martin joining Graham Mack and myself on the 49th episode of Red All Over YouTube. John used to appear with us when we used to hold our penalty shoot-outs in the early days of the Fanzine so we will discuss what it was like when, along with the legendary Brian Hall, we gave Reds All Over The Land the chance to step on the hallowed turf and show their penalty taking skills - or not as the case may be. We'll look at… ...
Liverpool 1 Brentford 124 May 2026-Fond farewells and credit to the Anfield crowd for giving Mo and Robbo such a good send off. Pity it couldn’t have been perfect, but the game mirrored most of the season. Fitting Mo helped Curtis with his goal because that could be his final call as well. Maybe that’s why Joe Gomez got to stretch his legs at the finish. Ali made a brilliant save just before halftime and we wonder if we will get to see him again. Finishing fifth in a sub-standard division wasn’t anything to celebrate and getting into the Champions League courtesy of UEFA won’t send me popping any corks. The season’s over, let it go, what happens next is down to others. ...
Villa 4 Liverpool 2 & Mo20 May 2026-I was away on holiday when Liverpool travelled to Birmingham to play Aston Villa and due to the time difference of two hours, I didn’t find out our result until the following morning. I read and noted the flak which has become the normal reaction as our season grinds to a miserable conclusion. Apparently by the time of the final whistle the away end was almost deserted and those that remained didn’t seem or sound too impressed either. Twenty-four hours later it sounded like Mo had thrown another grenade into the arena and the aftereffects could be felt even when I was relaxing on a sun lounger. Mo had posed on social media and had been given the thumbs up by… ...
Liverpool 1 Chelsea 19 May 2026-Another performance unworthy of a Liverpool side. We got the perfect start and then faded away faster than the labour vote in the council elections. No passion on the field, no passion off it. It’s not just about the manager but the whole coaching staff and the players. No point in saying anymore, end of season can’t come quick enough. ...
Manchester United 3 Liverpool 23 May 2026-When I saw our starting X1 along with a bench that looked more like a school outing I thought we’re going to be deep in the doodah. After 15-minutes we were neck deep in it. Then the fight back and I thought we could get something out of it, but we didn’t. Three games to go and we can all forget about football. Can't keep giving ourselves mountains to climb but we seem to play that way. ...
Editorial 32327 Apr 2026-Welcome to Issue 323 of Red All Over The Land. I decided to send this issue to the printers not long after the win down in the docklands. After a season of mostly mediocrity and dissatisfaction among the support it felt like a good idea to go out on some sort of high. Wallowing in David Moyes misery is some kind of fun; it doesn’t change anything but at least for a few days we had reasons to be cheerful. I’ve never been viewed as an optimist and I accept we could still trip over our own feet but finishing in the UEFA consolation spot of fifth is now a distinct possibility. For Liverpool, Champions League football has to be… ...
Liverpool 3 Palace 126 Apr 2026-Forget a fantastic fifth, let’s go for the fabulous fourth. My amnesty with Arne remains in place for another week after the 3-1 win over Palace. Isak scored a lucky one, Robbo and Wirtz scored good ‘uns. Three shots on target, three goals and I’d say Freddie Woodman was our man of the match. Yellow cards all-round the ground for FSG. ...
