All that mattered against Barnsley was winning and getting into Round Four of the FA Cup. We did that. Maybe the 4-1 scoreline flattered us but Szoboszlai scored the goal of the game but then performed the daftest act of the game to give Barnsley hope. Even so I thought we were just going through the motions, players taking no risks and had we scored the third early in the second half instead of late it would have been a lot more comfortable, but this now seems the Liverpool way. Four good goals though and Jeremie Frimpong is now playing with a bit of class. Flo and Hugo helped each other to the second half goals, and we can now plan for a home game v Brighton. And that’s all that matters.
