Euro Night Preamble

October 14, 2026

I have to say that our manager sounded a bit more upbeat than I expected when he talked about the game tonight against LASK. We will still be without Isak, Gakpo and Szoboszlai and Andoni hinted at changes from Sunday. On a normal day we’d be expected to beat the Austrian champions but normal days and the current Liverpool rarely travel together. A club of our stature shouldn’t be in this position but sadly we are where we are. I don’t know where goals are going to come from but let’s hope some of those big money signings can provide an answer of two.
