Liverpool 3 West Ham 2

February 25, 2020

Whoops, nearly slipped on that banana skin. One-nil up, two-one down but ended three-two up. Gini, Mo and Sadio on the target but we didn't play anywhere near our best. West Ham might have done but we still won. Four more wins required....

Atletico Madrid 1 Liverpool 0

February 19, 2020

Firstly we didn't play anywhere near our usual standard and our defence made a rare mistake which was punished. Secondly, it's not over. Anfield needs to be louder than ever and more intimidating as well. The league is still priority....

Norwich 0 Liverpool 1

February 16, 2020

Another small step towards the massive target. We didn't hit our best form and it should have been more emphatic. However, it's all about three points and when Sadio came on, he gave us just that. Pity Sky commentator Martin Tyler couldn't enjoy the moment as much as the rest of us....

Editorial 260

February 7, 2020

Welcome to Issue 260 of Red All Over The Land. After Liverpool had beaten Manchester City 4-3 in 2018 I got home and said, “Something’s happening at Liverpool”.  There was the feeling that at long, long last, under Jürgen Klopp Liverpool might be heading in the right direction. Under previous managers from Roy Evans through to Brendan...

Liverpool 1 Shrewsbury 0

February 5, 2020

The kids didn't do too badly did they? I'm glad we can kick the critics aside and enjoy another special Anfield night. Great stuff and a deserved win albeit thanks to an own goal by Williams from a Williams cross. Go and figure that one out....

Liverpool 4 Southampton 0

February 2, 2020

Odd game to watch because Southampton played as well as any other team that's been to Anfield this season...

West Ham 0 Liverpool 2

January 30, 2020

In the main, a no sweat night down in London. A pen from Mo set us on our way and when The Ox made it 2-0 the Cockney Boys knew there night was done. 19 points now the advantage; we'll take that but it still ain't done and dusted....

Shrewsbury 2 Liverpool 2

January 27, 2020

Not what we expected and not what we wanted. Even at 2-0 we didn't look comfortable and at 2-2 we looked desperate. Curtis Jones scored again, we had an own goal but Shrewsbury deserved what they got. We didn't want a replay and now we have a problem with it....

Wolves 1 Liverpool 2

January 24, 2020

As tough as they said it would be. Our team looks shattered, Sadio goes on the sick list.  Yet the fight in them is un-measurable. Skipper Jordan shocked the world, scored with a header.  Wolves scored, which surprised some but just when it looked like we only had a point up popped Bobby and once...

Liverpool 2 Manchester United 0

January 20, 2020

When Mo scored in final seconds you could feel 30 years of pain being lifted. This game should have been over well before then. After VvD put us ahead after 15 minutes, it became one sided for so long. Mo missed basically an open goal, Hendo hit the woodwork and there were other chances. In...
