We went, we saw but we didn't conquer this part of Europe. We played reasonably well but missed the chances which came our way. Suarez upset some not only by scoring but by celebrating and they also had that Messi fella. Ah well, been fun....

We had to win and we won.  Too hot for drama so just did what was necessary.  Great goal from Gini and then proof that in the modern game even the most obvious of penalties will be disputed.  Salah grappled; Milner scores. Good enough....

VAR again - this time giving us a goal and not disallowing any of there's.  Weathered a storm, scored and basically were home and dry from there on - despite the rain.  Mane got us going and Salah never looked like missing when put through. Bobby again and VvD, Barca awaits....

The first half was like watching Chess in so much as every move fascinated.  The second half was more blockbuster stuff, especially the two minute spell when Chelsea were blown apart. Our turn to go back top then after a good win down on the Solent.  First half was awful, second half a lot better and goals from the rarer than rare, Keita and Hendo and a gem from Mo. We can only keep winning and hoping and we won. Only thing that matters now....
