Liverpool 1 Napoli 0

December 19, 2018

Thank god for the hands of Alisson; his save in the dying embers put us into the knockouts and made the club maybe another £20m in TV rights.  Sadio Mane missed enough chances in this game to have had us all in a state of panic, which we were, till Ally made the save. On...

Burnley 1 Liverpool 3

December 19, 2018

Cold wet night in Burnley; not a nice thought but we got through despite going a goal down early in the second half. Milner, Firminho and Shaq scored our goals but the Joe Gomez broken legs marred the occasion....

Liverpool 1 Everton 0

December 3, 2018

We didn't play well, Everton played better than they usually do when at Anfield. Our front three are often quoted as being the best front three in Europe, at the moment they don't look the best front three at Anfield.  However, the 'derby' is different.  It's where legends are born, it's where history begins for...

Paris SG 2 Liverpool 1

November 29, 2018

Euro away is becoming a nightmare, fifth successive defeat on tour. Not what conquering all of Europe was meant to be about. One shot on target - a Milner penalty, v Red Star, hardly a shot and v Napoli not a shot.  Going to be tough now....

Watford 0 Liverpool 3

November 29, 2018

Started poor but thankfully improved. Need to start dominating in more commanding fashion. Better second half and no real worries once in front. Henderson was stupid to get sent off. Doesn't do himself too many favours at times. Mo, TAA and Firmino scored the goals, three points but can still improve....

Liverpool 2 Fulham 0

November 12, 2018

Not brilliant but enough to earn three points. Quick thinking got us the first goal and good on yer Mo. Quality got the second thanks to a Robbo cross and a finish from Shaq that oozed class...

Red Star 2 Liverpool 0

November 7, 2018

Saw our team and started to worry. Worries confirmed, two down inside half an hour.  Who played well? Nobody. Getting out a tough group has just got a whole lot tougher....

Arsenal 1 Liverpool 1

November 6, 2018

This was either a poor result if we want to be challenging for the title or a good result if we're contesting a top four spot.  I think it was a good result either way.  Not often we come away from an away game of this nature thinking our centre half should have got a...

Liverpool 4 Cardiff 1

October 29, 2018

Another half paced stroll simply because Cardiff arrived with a game plan - damage limitation and when that happens it can get boring and this got boring. The only surprise was Cardiff actually scored to cut back our lead to just 2-1 which was farcical. Thankfully we got a bit annoyed and went up and...
