Liverpool 1 Spurs 116 Mar 2026-One more miserable day to add to the current catalogue. Spurs surely came to Anfield thinking another defeat was on the cards, after all they had almost a complete team missing yet they showed more passion and desire, energy and effort than Liverpool. Just as the board was going up for another five minutes the villain of the peace, Richarlison scored the equaliser. Was anybody honestly surprised? Howls of derision greeted the final whistle as Tottenham celebrated a valuable point and our players slunk off to the sanctuary of the dressing room. The fabulous free kick that SZOBO scored had already been forgotten and did anyone in the ground think we looked capable of scoring another? Something is visibly wrong,… ...
Editorial Issue 32111 Mar 2026-Welcome to Issue 321 of Red All Over The Land. It’s been over six weeks since the last issue came out for the game v Qarabag. I can’t remember the last time we went so long without publishing a new issue. Night games are a pain especially when accompanied by lousy weather or like against Manchester City the make-up of the crowd were not the type who would know what a Fanzine represents let alone buy a copy. I’m now hoping for dry weather and a more receptive fan turn out between now and the season end. The future of Red All Over The Land is hanging in the balance. We stand on the side of genuine supporters but there… ...
Galatasaray 1 Liverpool 011 Mar 2026-Back in the dark ages a 1-0 defeat away from home in Europe was deemed a decent result and most of the time it would be turned round in the home leg. This Liverpool team doesn’t offer a lot of hope though. For the second time this season we suffered a 1-0 defeat against Galatasaray in Istanbul and there wasn’t a lot to get too excited about. Disorganised at the back, a sterile midfield and a front line that didn’t cause too many problems for the opposition. Thankfully the deficit is just one goal, so we know what we must do and that is to show more passion than we did in Istanbul. ...
Wolves 1 Liverpool 37 Mar 2026-Some reports suggested beating Wolves in the FA Cup three days after the shocking showing and loss in the league was revenge. Nothing can be further from the truth. This was, maybe, compensation and for some of us progress in the FA Cup matters. The first half wasn’t too different to some other performances but the second half was a lot better. Robbo’s goal was a reminder of just how good a player he still is, laying on the second for Mo confirmed it. Curtis scored for the second successive Cup game and one of the star performers was Rio Ngumoha. I will wait for the draw sometime on Monday night hoping for a home draw, not worried about who… ...
Wolves 2 Liverpool 14 Mar 2026-The most painful thing about the loss at Wolves is that it wasn’t a surprise. Too slow, too predictable, a lack of desire and energy. No finger pointing because the responsibility lies with everyone. Don’t let’s dwell on another last-minute goal, let’s look at the whole show. ...
Liverpool 5 West Ham 21 Mar 2026-You win 5-2 but still come out the ground shaking like a leaf on a tree. Why? It wasn’t because of anything West Ham were doing but what we were doing. I started having a panic attack every time we had a goal kick!!! All that passing around in not just the penalty area but even the six-yard box. Not only that the mistimed pass and the ball being given away. However, in this game we became the set-piece kings [apparently]. It brought us three first half goals and the last time we got five at Anfield was the day we won the league. Shame they decided the Frimpong goal was an O.G. The others were pretty good and nice… ...
Forest 0 Liverpool 123 Feb 2026-We didn’t deserve to beat Forest, but Forest didn’t deserve to beat us. The last gasp winner from Argentina’s best enabled us to forget what had gone before and celebrate three vital points. If we qualify for the Champions League next season our performance for about 80 minutes of this game will be forgotten. Football has always been like that and daft as it may seem, maybe VAR saying “No” to Mac Allister’s first effort helped us because had it stood, we would have had to have defended for around 10-minutes, and our nerves might have been able to have survived that. Put the spoils in the bag and head home. ...
Liverpool 3 Brighton 015 Feb 2026-Our 3-0 win over Brighton in the FA Cup was welcomed by most of us, I’m sure. The Szoboszlai goal was the highlight of the game mainly due to the pass from Mo. The Curtis goal late in the first half may have settled a few nerves but some of our kamikaze messing around at the back stretched my nerves at times. Mo not only scored the penalty but also won it and Rio was unlucky to see his goal chalked off – where’s VAR when you want it. Arne was so confident of our progressing into Round Five he sent Calvin Ramsey on for the last two minutes. Must give a bit of credit to the Brighton fans who… ...
Sunderland 0 Liverpool 112 Feb 2026-A win is a win and we won. First visiting team to win a Premier League game at Sunderland this season. It took a long time for the goal we both needed and deserved to come but when VvD got on the end of a Mo cross it was to prove enough. Sadly, the game again saw another injury, and it sounds like Endo is out for some time. Is the right back position in the Liverpool team akin to the poison chalice? At least his replacement Joe Gomez got through the remaining twenty plus minutes unscathed. ...
Liverpool 1 Manchester City 29 Feb 2026-The first half against Manchester City, on our part, was nothing short of tepid. The second half, for maybe 20-minutes, was an improvement and a free kick from Dom was world class in its execution. Then, we seemed to lose the plot. I can’t be sure Arne even knew the plot. He obviously had little trust in a bench which for some reason included two goalkeepers. We were going to send on Curtis Jones when City levelled, in fact we did then send him on when the game restarted. Unfortunately, if anyone was going to win from that juncture it wasn’t us. I don’t know what went on in Ali’s mind when he gave away the penalty. We then sent on Chiesa, but City… ...
