We Can Only Win

Jürgen called for noise, and he got it. We got the points, but we didn’t play anywhere near our best but credit Watford for that. The Owl did himself no favours when at Anfield, but he knows how to set up a team to defend. They even had a couple of chances but for one we also had Alisson Becker and they missed the target with the other. The cross from Joe Gomez for the Diogo opener was TAA class. I thought the floodgates could open but we never looked like scoring.  Maybe we overdid the simple things, and I was surprised when we got the late penalty. Fab then let us enjoy the last five minutes.
