The season is just 6 weeks old and our team have again perfected the art of putting us through the wringer. Glad to have won against Southampton and I thought Leoni was our best player until the injury. Very laboured performance & maybe the daftest sending off ever....

Southampton at home in the League Cup should let us see some of the talent we have bubbling under. Look forward to that. The European League [AKA Champions League] looks tough on the face of it. Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and Qarabag at Anfield and away dates with Inter, Eintracht Frankfurt, Marseille and Galatasaray. I hope we give TAA the welcome he deserves....
