I may be in the minority but I see the League Cup as an important trophy. We celebrated two great days down at Wembley under Jurgen and beating Chelsea. On the way to last seasons triumph we beat West Ham at Anfield 5-1. Hopefully this game against West Ham was one of those magical co-incidents...

Trepidation was the air as the stigma of the Forest defeat hung over Anfield. Inside five minutes the ball was in the back of our net but thankfully VAR came to our aid and cancelled things out.  The warning signs were there and we scrambled about playing funny football at the back.
