Under 18’s Score Five Against Manchester United

August 22, 2021

A brilliant 5-0 away win for the Liverpool Under 18’s at Manchester United with Oakley Cannonier scoring a hattrick. Luca Stevenson and Terence Miles added the others. Cannonier also scored twice on the opening day of the season when the Under 18’s won 5-3 against Stoke.  He is another name to watch out for....

Nice Day in Canary Land

August 15, 2021

Norwich 0 Liverpool 3. The worst thing about Norwich away is the location. Travelling abroad would be easier. However, great to get off to a good start and what a show from Mo. Setting goals for Jota and then Bobby Firmino before rounding the day off with one of his own. Having VvD back has to...

Monday Night Football

August 11, 2021

A good show for those who turned up at Anfield for the Monday Night Football against Spanish side Osasuna and for some of us it had been a long wait since that night v Atlético Madrid. Bobby Firmino scored twice and Taka Minamino got the opening goal. Ibrahima Konate made his first Anfield appearance alongside...

Liverpool 1 Athletic Bilbao 1

August 9, 2021

The good news was 40,000 fans could watch Liverpool again and they got to see Diogo Jota score. Bad news was Robbo getting injured and now we wait to hear if he will miss games. Harvey Elliott looked the star of the show. Still missing a midfield but hopefully we’ll have one by Saturday....

And 1-0 in the second game

August 5, 2021

A brilliant goal from Taka Minamino won the second game in which Divock Origi mised a penalty. No flow really as the team made constant changes but more rust ran off....

Liverpool beat Bologna 2-0 in game #1

August 5, 2021

Diogo Jota and Sadio Manè scored early goals in an hour long friendly against Italian side Bologna but despite virtual total dominance we couldn’t get more goals. More important VvD got just over 40-minutes on the pitch and both Joel Matip and Naby Keita an hour without doing themselves any damage.  Ben Woodburn came on...

Pre Season Defeat

July 30, 2021

The pre-season continued with a 4-3 defeat against Hertha Berlin in Innsbruck.  In the days leading up to the game the Echo kept making suggestions about the future of Jordan Henderson.  If they weren’t talking Hendo they were warning us about the strengths of the teams who could be deemed as our rivals and then...

Red All Over The Land Anniversary Waltz

July 29, 2021

Well it won’t really be a waltz but as mentioned in the Editorial it’s planned to go ahead on Saturday November 13th which is during an International break.  It is hoped a true Liverpool legend will be in attendance, Mike Lepic from the JC23 Foundation will be there and there will be live music as...
